Tuning In导入

Students look at a number of books relating to the unit, and inquire and share their findings with one another.

     教室里准备了动物图书、图片及操作学具,激发小朋友对新主题的探究兴趣。老师提出问题:“你最喜欢的动物是什么?”小朋友进行头脑风暴,老师们记录幼儿的语言。


Finding Out发现与探究


Students use animal books, videos from the internet, and interviews (with students and teachers) to learn more about animals and answer specific questions.

      小朋友开展了多种探究:阅读图书,操作学具、观看动物视频、观察蚕宝宝以及采访他人,进一步了解了各种类型的动物和其特征。


Sorting Out整理


Students use art crafts, dance, and even a vote to sort out information about animals.

       小朋友们通过制作手工、表演、统计及分类等多种形式将自己探究发现的结果进行整理和分享。


Going Further进一步延伸


学具操作-几只脚?               给“动物”洗澡

Students learn how helpful animals can be like silk worms (make silk) and dogs (help the blind), etc.

      小朋友根据自己的兴趣选取了自己想要探究的问题,发现许多动物对我们的生活有很大帮助。

Reflecting反思

尝试解救冰冻的“动物”——泡热水、敲冰块、晒太阳,你还想到什么方法?

Because animals are so helpful the children reflect on ways that they can help these animals (like provide homes & food, have a cleaner environment, etc.)

     集体反思:怎样才能保护好对我们生活如此重要的动物。


Acting行动

合作制作宣传板,到小小班进行介绍。

Students make a chart about animal health & safety then share this throughout the school reminding students and teachers to care for animals and their environment.

       小朋友们一起制作保护动物的宣传板,向更多的人介绍&宣传保护动物的方法。


“导盲犬”宣传员提倡——

遇到导盲犬,请不要影响它工作,做到:

不呼唤,不拒绝,不喂食,不抚摸。


Student-Led Conference


学生领导会议

At the end of the term 2, the students from Nursery shared their learning with parents via Student-Led Conferences.

Through Student-Led Conferences, each parent had the opportunity to spend time with their child in the school environment, and explore some of the learning that their child had experienced over the course of the term.  

      在主题探究的最后,小班开展了“学生领导会议”,小朋友向爸爸妈妈介绍和分享自己的学习经验和收获。
